Exploring New Opportunities for China-Africa Water Affairs Cooperation | A delegation from the African Water Association visited and inspected Shanghai-Kent

On April 19, 2025, François Olivier Gossou, Vice Chairman of the African Water Association, led representatives from water companies in Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Uganda, Senegal and other African regions to visit and exchange experiences at Shanghai Kent. This visit aimed to explore cooperation opportunities in the water sector between China and Africa, focus on promoting the innovative application of smart water technology and services in the African market, and build an important bridge for deepening cooperation between the two sides.

During the inspection, the delegation from the African Water Association visited the Kent Technology exhibition hall, big data center, R&D center and manufacturing center in depth. Through actual observation and communication, they gained a comprehensive understanding of Kent's R&D strength and innovative achievements in the field of smart water management. They were particularly interested in the outstanding performance of Kent's electromagnetic flow meters in maintaining stable operation even in extreme environments.

Meanwhile, at the 2025 Annual Conference of China Urban Water Supply and Drainage Association and the Exhibition of Urban Water Technology and Products held from April 17th to 19th, the delegation of the African Water Association also specially visited the booth of Kent in Shanghai, gained a deep understanding of Kent's products and application scenarios, and expressed a strong intention to cooperate.

As a high-tech enterprise actively implementing the national "Belt and Road" initiative, Shanghai Kent has been continuously deepening its presence in the African market in recent years, relying on its advanced technology, high-quality products and considerate services in the field of electromagnetic flow meters, and has achieved remarkable results.

At present, Kent has participated in the cooperation of projects in many African countries such as Gambia, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, helping the local areas effectively reduce water supply loss, significantly improve water supply efficiency and truly improve the water conditions for residents. It has won wide acclaim and high recognition from the local governments and people.
